Thanks Danielle for commenting on my review of Children From The Sea by Lookman. I am pleased that my review has generated discussion and debate. I feel like I have done my job. As I said in the review, the book is well written and entertaining. The author looks at the world the way things are rather than how they could be. Someone else may read this book and see it a totally different way. In the end, it's a book that causes thought and discussion and, in my mind, that's a good thing.
Best,

I hate the sparkling junk that appears in the Comment threads Dannielle.
My temptation arises from having found a truly atrocious piece of garbage.
But, If I sent it to you, you might want to respond in kind -and then our Ping features (Praise Gather!) would be cluttered with the abhominable stuff we despise.
I recall your warnings about the exceptions that become new norms!

I hare the spakling junk in comment threads, Dannielle.
I found a really atrocious sparkling object.
If I sent it, you might be tempted to respond -and then we would have horrible flashing things clogging our Ping feature (Praise Gather).

I have an awful urge to send a sparkling image to Dannielle.
I just became pingable again, too.

Tonia, I leave them there until someone splats one of those awful glittery things here, at which point I delete them all set myself to pinglessness for a month or two.
